Espai natural amb vegetació mediterrània, passarel·la de fusta, font històrica i estany. Ideal per passejar i gaudir de la tranquil·litat i jocs infantils.
El Bosc i la Font de Can Gatxet formen part d’un antic jardí boscà d’inspiració romàntica, vinculat a la torre situada entre els carrers Toledo, avinguda de Bilbao i Pontevedra. D’aquest conjunt històric encara se’n conserven elements de gran valor, com la font, un petit estany emmarcat de toves, murs de pedra, un banc integrat i antics camins i escales que travessaven el turó.
Avui, una passarel·la de fusta connecta els carrers Toledo i Pontevedra i permet descobrir aquest espai natural, ric en vegetació frescal, amb alzines, roures cerrioides i altres espècies mediterrànies que creen un ambient ombrívol i tranquil.

El conjunt de la font, bancs i estany de la font: temps enrere els residents de Mira-sol i d’altres punts de Sant Cugat aprofitaven aquest antic indret per reunir-s’hi o per anar a buscar aigua a la font.
