The Volpelleres Stream – Can Vernet Green Corridor is one of Sant Cugat’s main natural corridors. The area follows the Volpelleres stream and connects the neighbourhoods of Coll Favà, Sant Domènec and the old town via a continuous stretch of nature, paths and leisure areas, acting as a genuine ecological and landscape infrastructure. The section along the stream stands out for its fresh, natural atmosphere, where the flowing water and riverside vegetation create a peaceful and pleasant landscape. It is an ideal place to observe wildlife, follow the water cycle and enjoy an environment much loved by families. This corridor is a spacious area close to the city centre, and the park features a large green space, children’s play areas, sports facilities, meadows and paths. It is also a popular venue for city events and activities.
