A walk through Sant Cugat’s green spaces

We’ll set off from the Monastery of Sant Cugat del Vallès, one of the town’s treasures, specifically from Plaça D’octavià, where we’ll discover the unique features of this first landscaped area. Around the Monastery, we’ll stop at the Casa de Cultura cultural centre, in the gardens behind the Monastery, at the walls and on the Paga-li Joan promenade. We’ll leave the monastery grounds and head to the next green space, the Arboretum Park and the Antoni Gaudí Promenade, which was originally intended to visually link the Monastery of Sant Cugat with the summit of Tibidabo. We continue our journey through the urban green spaces, passing through La Pollancreda Park and Cerdà Park before reaching our next green gem, Torrent de Ferrussons Park, which has been carefully maintained to preserve the original species that once grew there. We resume our route, heading now towards Mirador Park, where we’ll find an old boundary cross and some fine views of the surrounding area. Next, we’ll visit the Can Vernet Bridge and the park of the same name. Now all that remains is to make our way back at a leisurely pace to the starting point.
