START · FGC 'General Hospital' station Leave the FGC 'General Hospital' station and head towards the Sant Cugat Crematorium. Cross the pedestrian crossing and join the Mira-sol cycle path, around Av. Montserrat Roig, which runs parallel to the railway line and the fields of Can Ametller. Continue to the first roundabout and cross the railway lines on the bridge. Then, continue straight on along Josep Irla Street and enter Can Mates Hill Park via the Can Rabella path, between the farmhouse and the urban allotments. Cross the park and go behind the Turó de Can Mates School. If you want to avoid the climb up the hill, follow the alternative route to Josep Irla Street. If you prefer to go up, you'll be able to enjoy great views over Sant Cugat. Afterwards, go down to the calisthenics and children's play area. Go under the bridge on the Vallvidrera road and enter Central Park. Follow the cycle path alongside the Bomba stream, passing the various children's play areas, until you go under the FGC railway tracks. Continue along Manel Farrés Street to Lluís Companys Avenue. Turn left and follow Lluís Companys Avenue uphill to Rius i Taulet Street. Turn right, pass through Plaça dels Quatre Cantons and arrive at Rambla del Celler. Continue down the cycle path on Rambla del Celler to Pollancreda Park. At the end of the park, head towards the skatepark area along Avinguda de les Corts Catalanes. Go around Pollancreda Park and continue along Avinguda de Cerdanyola to the entrance of the Gardens of Sant Francesc. Cross the gardens and continue along Ragull Avenue, passing the Monestir-Sant Francesc neighbourhood urban garden and the Joaquima Pla i Farreras Institute. Enter the path of the Torrent d'en Ferrussons and follow it to the park's children's area and table tennis facilities. At this point, turn around and continue along the south side of the park, following Clementina Arderiu, Salvador Espriu and Vicenç Foix streets. Cross the bridge over the North Bypass and the RENFE (R8) railway lines and join the path from Sant Cugat to Sabadell, which is reserved for cyclists and pedestrians. Continue to Avenida Via Augusta and follow the cycle path that runs alongside the Volpelleres woods. Head down Carrer Alfons d'Aragó, passing the Leonardo da Vinci Institute and the Volpelleres FGC station. Continue to Can Vernet Park and approach the Can Vernet bridge. From here, follow the stream downstream, cross Sant Julià Street and continue along the cycle lane on Salvador Espriu Street to Francesc Macià Avenue. Finally, follow the promenade towards the Monastery, enter the Monastery Gardens and continue to Plaça d'Octavià (in front of the Monastery of Sant Cugat), the final point of the route.
