From Sant Cugat to Can Borrell

From Sant Cugat to Can Borrell

Explore scenic trails, historic ruins, and natural springs, culminating at a charming farmhouse, offering a picturesque hiking experience.
The itinerary begins in front of the Teatre Auditori. We'll head up the Passeig d'Antoni Gaudí until we reach Carrer de Llaceres, where we'll turn right. Right before we reach the Carretera de la Rabassada road, we'll go down the Carrer Comte, cross the Camí del Crist Treballador (which leads to the Avenç school) and continue down a dirt road until we reach the Rambla de Can Bell. There, we'll find the yellow- and-white blazes of the PR-C38 trail marked on the pavement. These will lead us to a path called the Camí de Sant Vicenç del Bosc, which, in turn, will take us to a spring called the Font de Sant Vicenç. Following the blazes, a few meters further along we'll find the ruins of the church of Sant Vicenç del Bosc. We'll continue onwards until we reach a spring called the Font de l'Ermetà, and eventually a farmhouse called Can Borrell. To return to our starting point, we can either retrace our steps or take the Camí de Can Borrell to Sant Cugat, which makes for a beautiful end to our hike.
